Planted Ambitions to Host Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament at Heritage Golf Links This Fall

Tucker, GA — September 27, 2025 — Planted Ambitions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young adults through education, workforce readiness, and relocation support, will host its Inaugural Charity Golf Tournament: Diving Change, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Heritage Golf Links in Tucker, Georgia.

The tournament, a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 AM, marks a major milestone for the organization as it kicks off a new tradition aimed at combining philanthropy and community engagement through sport.

“We’re thrilled to bring together leaders, supporters, and changemakers for a day of fun with purpose,” said Mark McClintock, founder of Planted Ambitions. “This tournament will not only help fund our programs but also bring visibility to the real challenges facing students who are ready to invest in their future but need support to take the first step.”

Participants will enjoy an 18-hole scramble format, breakfast and lunch provided, and a chance to compete in contests such as longest drive and hole-in-one challenges. Raffle prizes and giveaways will also be featured throughout the day. An awards ceremony and networking reception will cap off the event.

All proceeds from the tournament will benefit Planted Ambitions’ core initiatives, including relocation assistance for students enrolling in technical colleges, career pathway assessments, and wraparound support services for young adults pursuing trade school and certification programs.

Planted Ambitions, which recently launched its strategic initiative to connect students with the Technical College System of Georgia, is building momentum with partnerships that support upward mobility and economic empowerment.

“Our goal is to remove barriers,” McClintock added. “Sometimes the only thing standing between a young adult and a better future is some guidance, moving assistance, or a stable learning environment. We’re here to provide all three.”

The nonprofit is inviting corporate sponsors, local businesses, and individual supporters to register for the tournament or donate online.
